What I really need now is to take the hammie pouches off my face and a new hair cut.

my favourite classmates

June 17, 2007 · 3 Comments

Every new semester, I embark on the same old but very enjoyable task (to me) of getting a new organiser and doing it up.

The latest one is a brown faux leather hard cover from Prints, which I totally heart! I was skimming through some of my older organisers to input birthdates into my new organiser, and I came across this entry which I wrote at the end of my JC days, i.e. 2003. Very emo, thought I share it with you guys:

(word for word)

can’t help grinning each time i reflect how 2day and the last 2 years went… really enjoyed being w dis lot of 26/02 guys & girls. at the same time, i’m a lil’ scared. cos maybe after today… it’ll be all over. hey… it has always been like that, isn’t it? e way how you can be really close 2 ppl dis moment & strangers e next. sadly, i dun want dat to happen. but many things aren’t within my ctrl. we can’t stay in jc foreva. have to move on… go university… go army… go separate ways. yet, an end means a new beginning. forge new frenships, make new memories… gonna start all over again.

*smile* just wish dis real cool & bubbly lot of 26/02 have nothing but the best fot all future endeavours. i’m glad for once in my life, our lives crossed… hope i, too, have given you guys enuf good memories to bring you guys thru’ lives.

dun forget anyone… cos once in your life, these people have played such impt roles. memories give you strength, renew you and bring you thru’ everyday. for in memories, you find love, care, concern and true friendships…

(fin)

OK! F*CKING EMOOOO! haha. I can’t help being a typical Piscean back then. But trust me, I’ve toned down ALOT over the last few years. EMO is totally, exasperating!

Anyhow, it’s been 4 years and I am glad the whole lot of us are still in constant contact, and meeting up at regular intervals (like every 6 mths?). Heh. Thanks to all the organisers and the people who turn up for the gatherings!

The latest one was held at Sentosa on 12 May ‘07! Thanks Choonkee for ‘volunteering’ to organise! Heh. It was grrreat! : )

the girls

the boys

the outcast, James

It is super duper difficult to get a decent class photo taken.

Miscellaneous shots

The people who stayed over.

Easily wasted Alvin.

Random night shot of Cafe del Mar that turned out quite decent.

Room troubles.

June 16, 2007 · Leave a Comment

I can’t sleep.

Since I penned down the fact that I am getting a fuchsia room, I am feeling very perturbed. : (

I AM NOT A PINK PERSON.

Booooo. Neither do I wish to be one.

So here I am, surfing the web for colour psychology (to see if pink will do me any good).

Pink

Associated with: love
Best for: bedrooms as it can be peaceful and restful. A hot fuchsia can introduce passion
Pitfalls: can be appear to be very girlie and sickly sweet. To counteract this, introduce hints of dark charcoal or black

And I came across this colour quiz. Here’s my results:

Exercises initiative in overcoming obstacles and difficulties. Either holds, or wishes to achieve, a position of authority in which control can be exerted over events.

How true. ‘Cause I want to march down to my house NOW. Find the designers. And ask them not to give me a matching fuchsia bed headboard. Boo. And if possible - why can’t I just have a neutral coloured room? Grrr. Or I thought I already said I don’t mind red?

The irony is, I requested for a neutral colour room and one of them said, no and asked me to choose a colour. I agreed on red eventually. Then the next thing I know, my room ceiling is fuchsia and all the other rooms in the house is neutral. WTH.

I know I sound like a brat. But I feel very strongly towards colours in general. My life is about colours. I see things in colours. And I know very well, my room cannot be pinkkkk.

Or maybe they can add lots of black to tone it down.

Belated photo-post: Geo’s Birthday @ Rain/DblO!

June 16, 2007 · 5 Comments

A long overdue entry I know. But hey, late’s muchhh better than never. I have been busy LRH-ing. For those who didn’t know, we (LRH) held a flea last Saturday at the Lime Flea Market. And man, it is totally energy sapping but a fun experience. It is nice to be doing something with Xiang, Jackson, my sis, my sis’s friend (funny Jamie) and Collin (thanks!).

My sis and her friend were there to sell Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Bodyworks products. Loads of body sprays, body lotions, perfumes and hand washes. Interested parties can email her at ilovepotion@gmail.com! Do support! : )

Just one piccccc for the flea! Special thanks to Geo for popping by! : )

We finally got down to creating our very own LRH paper bags and namecards (alas!). And I am loving them to bits! The back of our namecard reads:

“Whoever said money can’t buy happiness don’t know where to shop.”

Heh. Min is a happy little red heeler! : )

Back to the post title! Geo’s held her birthday at Rain and the theme was set as BIMBO&HIMBO. Cool. Haha. But hell, I went there late (urps, sorry!) and realised (almost) everyone’s defined bimbo/himbo as dressing prettily and nicely. Boringgg. I nearly went there with wig on larrr. -_-”

I would have murdered Geo, for she is just wearing this pretty pink dress, if not for the fact that she did a S$150 manicure that ‘encasted’ her nails with 60-something Swarovski crystals on each hand. All I can say is, Geo lived up to her reputation again! Thanks for never failing to disappoint, Ms 350 (private joke)!

Special mention to Ting, the innate BIMBO. Heh. Like totallyyyyyy. Oopsy. BFF!!!

Alrights. Here’s the pic. It was a greattt night! : )

Last note, Min is a DRIVERRRR!!! Yay! I passedddd. Like finally. The sad thing is both my family cars are hugggeeee and yes, I am very intimidated. But I’ll be on the roads once my father/brother is assured of my erhem, driving skills. Heh. Yay!!

P.S. I’ll be shifting house next month! Double yay!! I love the rest of the house but sadly, am kind of disappointed with my room. I got the smallest wardrobe when I need a biggggg one. And my supposedly red room became a fuchsia-themed room. Sheesh, you know pink is totally un-me. Urggg.

P.P.S. We are bringing Oreo and Pebble to Sentosa todayyyy! Loveeee. : )
